Savoy Grand来自英国小城诺丁汉，97年成立，后签至��国厂牌Glitterhouse Records，曾被NME评论为"one of the best new bands to watch in the future"，00及01年分別有Dirty pillows专辑及Survivor EP等颇受好评的作品
02年的Burn the Furniture(专辑名源自早期EP的同名曲，"they don't build anything anymore, just burn the furniture in your yard")，包括后来的People and What They Want，走的都是氛围实验的路线，沿用一贯舒缓的步调，即使像Business Is Good里的white noise，Recovery Positions里的电音，也依然维持了专辑的整体性。而04年稍转型的EP The Lost Horizon，sadcore民谣气质让人想起Red House Painters和Low，其中有我喜欢的一曲Reason to leave，飘渺的吉它音色，简约的鼓和贝斯，安静的琴键，层层叠叠堆砌出往昔的回声，那时Graham Langley的声音还略显中性，哀伤悲婉却有着安抚人心的力量，像一个过来人唱着，"cause u made me what i am, then you left me..."
Accident Book作为Savoy Grand的第四张专辑，延续了这种甜蜜温柔的悲伤，Graham用更为沉静的声音，唱着寂寞和失落

"因为大家都结婚"这种理由真是烂透了。电影里关于家庭冲突、中年危机的主题一点也不新鲜，看QAF时，其实我是赞同Brian的去他的结婚论，尽管最后他改变了想法还是没结成，我觉得这个结局挺好，他们的确“不需要靠戒指或誓言来证明彼此相爱”
也许像Boston Legal里Denny Crane说的，“what's the point?”，这是一个永远也不应该问的问题

"This is a terrible album. End of story. With the exception of My Girls (which is fantastic) and some mediocre songs early on in the album, the album is horrid. They have an annoying tendency to have repeat EVERY SINGLE WORD that is said (about 5 times too), put that above about 5 layers of noise, add a MIDI coded melody on top and add the most annoying aounding bass drum in histyory to constantly bang away at you while you sit there gnashing your teeth in frustration. A horrible album and not recommended for anyone really, (except for the religious followers of pitchfork)." --stevo796 两颗星

RC: Yeah, I listen to music a lot on the treadmill-- I would test Raditude songs out on the treadmill.

RC: Let me check. ... Funnily enough, it's Aly & AJ's "Potential Break Up Song." I didn't realize I had listened to it 41 times. Then there's "Single Ladies" by Beyoncé, Tim McGraw's "My Little Girl", Arcade Fire's "Keep the Car Running", Hannah Montana's "Nobody's Perfect", Katy Perry's "Hot N Cold", and the Killers' "Human".

跑步及其它 01/01/2010
与村上大叔无关，10月底体检过后，听了医生的建议，开始跑起步来。说起来此种运动实在无趣，不听音乐简直没法迈步，搁置在柜底的耳机也终于派上用场(平日用惯了耳塞)，并总结出一套跑步专用BGM。如此断断续续的持续了一个多月，困扰多日的过敏性鼻炎，果然是好了。加上刻意的节食，体重掉到97，也离目标不远了。往年每逢夏天都嚷着要减肥，直到现在才终于有了点成果
控制食欲，从某种程度上讲，是要把握自己的身体，管理好自己，而跑步则是逼着自己做些不喜欢的事。上次听到有人讲如何减压，其实说到底，人类是不健全的存在，不可能任何事都得心应手，能做擅长又喜欢的事固然好，这世上也有大把不擅长又不得不去做的事，面对压力，我们要做的不是消除它，而是扩大“舒适区”，让自己变得更强大，有人用举重来做比喻，我觉得很贴切
不大喜欢做年终总结这类东西，这一年花了不少时间在工作上，只去了一趟厦门，看了两场重量级后摇，消遣都丢给了电影和美剧，没怎么看书，专辑也没好好听过几张，这些要从2010年好好来做，要work hard, 也要play hard
期待下1月10号东莞的Avatar，未定的几场演出，还有5月的泰国之行
